I had a quick appointment at the doctor's office this morning for blood work and I noticed something that's not there anymore: magazines. I mentioned it to the receptionist and she answered, "Yeah, you can't disinfect them."
So just a quick note to anyone else who will be visiting the doctor in the next few months: Bring a book!
